Lee Master Stylist
Lee is the heart and visionary behind our sustainable salon – owner, educator, and Vidal Sassoon–trained master cutter.
With decades of experience rooted in the precision and architectural excellence of Vidal Sassoon training, Lee specialises in beautifully balanced, precision haircuts. From sharp, structured bobs and geometric lines to soft, modern layers, his work is designed to move naturally and grow out gracefully.
Sustainability is central to Lee’s approach, guiding everything from the eco-conscious products used in the salon to waste-reducing practices that respect both people and the planet.
Passionate about education, Lee also mentors the team and shares his knowledge to support the next generation of stylists. For him, the salon is more than a business – it’s a collaborative, welcoming space where creativity thrives and every client receives thoughtful, personalised care.
Sami Senior Stylist
With over 15 years of experience, she specialises in precision cutting and expert colouring, with a particular passion for creating lived-in colour – effortless, sun-kissed tones that grow out beautifully and deliver natural, low-maintenance radiance.
She loves crafting personalised colour that enhances each client’s features, from soft blonde tones and rich dimensional brunettes to subtle highlights that mimic time spent in the sun.
She also enjoys creating timeless bridal hairstyles, from romantic updos to soft, flowing waves, helping every bride feel confident and beautiful on their special day.
At the heart of her work is genuine client care – listening closely, offering honest advice, and creating a relaxed, personalised experience where every client leaves feeling both styled and truly cared for.
Maisie Stylist
Maisie is our newly qualified stylist (2026), bringing fresh energy, creativity, and a real passion for hair to the salon.
Having trained with Hawthorn Hair, she loves creating styles that look beautiful while respecting the planet. Maisie enjoys working with eco-conscious techniques and low-impact products to enhance each client’s natural beauty.
Whether you’re after a fresh cut, vibrant colour, or a little feel-good pampering, Maisie brings enthusiasm, creativity, and genuine care to every appointment.
Her warm, friendly approach helps every client feel relaxed and welcome – leaving the salon not only with great hair, but with a little extra happiness too.

I’m always a little apprehensive when changing hairdressers but on visiting Hawthorn, I knew instantly that I had nothing to worry about. The staff are extremely professional but friendly and accommodating. The premises have a nice ambiance/decor and you are made to feel very welcome on entering. On my numerous visits, I have always left, loving my color/cut. I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking for amazing results.

Relaxed , friendly atmosphere and Sami really takes time to listen to what I want and I’m so happy with the colour and cut . The products the salon uses are also very nice so your hair feels amazing too especially after the head massage from Maisie which is never rushed . The whole experience from arrival makes you feel like you are being taken care of and in good hands so you can just relax and enjoy the experience . Thank you!

I'm growing out an undercut and also wanted a fringe, she was great at talking through what would work for my hair where it is at the moment& how my natural hair line is and suggested a slightly different cut than I first had in mind to fit with that and the fact I like low maintenance, she took care to ensure it was what I wanted and we were in agreement before starting and had lots of attention to detail during the cut. All within an hour and for £50. I'll be back! Great experience all round, lovely interior design in the salon too 🙂
