I have always had a lovely experiences at Hawthorn hair! Abbie has cut my hair both times, she is extremely precise and always listens when she has cut my hair. The staff are always so lovely. Would 100% recommend!

Always go out of their way to make me feel welcome and ensure I am happy with my new style. I have had haircuts and colour done by Sami who has always done a great job and it has been an enjoyable, relaxed experience.

Fabulous salon. Sami takes time to discuss what the client wants and she really listens and advises. She then cuts with great care and precision. My middle-aged, thinning hair is now in better shape than ever, in good condition after her advice and a great cut.

I’m always a little apprehensive when changing hairdressers but on visiting Hawthorn, I knew instantly that I had nothing to worry about. The staff are extremely professional but friendly and accommodating. The premises have a nice ambiance/decor and you are made to feel very welcome on entering. On my numerous visits, I have always left, loving my color/cut. I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking for amazing results.

What a fantastic experience I had this week, colour with Abi and haircut with Lee. Hawthorn has a confident and highly trained team of stylists. It’s a real pleasure to sit in a salon that genuinely cares about their craft, their high standards for their clients and not settling for anything less than perfection. The Hawthorn team seems to have a business model that pays high attention to sustainability and environment issues. This is very important to me. I’ve loved my 2 visits to Hawthorns . Relaxed , friendly atmosphere and Sami really takes time to listen to what I want and I’m so happy with the colour and cut . The products the salon uses are also very nice so your hair feels amazing too especially after the head massage from Maisie which is never rushed . The whole experience from arrival makes you feel like you are being taken care of and in good hands so you can just relax and enjoy the experience . Thank you!

Just got back from a wonderful cut with Abbie. First time at the salon. I'm growing out an undercut and also wanted a fringe, she was great at talking through what would work for my hair where it is at the moment& how my natural hair line is and suggested a slightly different cut than I first had in mind to fit with that and the fact I like low maintenance, she took care to ensure it was what I wanted and we were in agreement before starting and had lots of attention to detail during the cut. All within an hour and for £50. I'll be back! Great experience all round, lovely interior design in the salon too 🙂

I've been visiting Hawthorn for just over 2 years now and Sami always does an amazing job of colouring and cutting my cropped bleach blonde hair. I love the fact they're a sustainable Davines salon, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Well worth the drive from Tavistock.
